In Memory of Shipeng Li

Ottawa, Canada

 

During the over ten years of our stay at Montreal, we had known Shipeng/Yi and Jianqing’s family very well. We were very close friends and helped each other; we had lots of get-together parties at each of apartments (especially at Christmas and Chinese New Year occasions). Shipeng’s family visited Ottawa back in 2004. Our two families had lunch together near Byward market in Ottawa. Looking back, it looked that it just happened a little while ago. Shipeng was an easy going, caring and talented person. During the past few years  I have learnt thru Facebook that he liked cycling very much and he was very good at it. His dedication to his hobbies, family, and his work had impressed me very much. I admire him and also admire his courage. We wish that he could carry his interests in another world. Shipeng’s passing saddened us with complete shocks. We will miss him! With much love and sympathy for Yi and Aurea’s greatest loss!
